CONVERSATION EVENT & BROADCAST / 2015 - present
Broadcast Bartender is a conversation event that borrows from the traditions of the public house - a building which caters for ordinary people to meet and talk - to provide an alternative to the more formal modes of hosted conversation.
Initiated by artists Toby Lloyd and Andrew Wilson in 2015, Broadcast Bartender invites 5x Guest Drinkers and 1x Guest Bartender to talk freely for approximately 2hrs from a fabricated public house environment.
This recorded conversation is then released as a radio broadcast.

“Like most pub talk, Broadcast Bartender is intentionally improvised, enabling the conversations to veer off into surprising or unsuspected areas, at any time”
